We had a fantastic week here for Cowes Week, taking in the Extreme 40’s, the fireworks and of course, the night life! I managed to find quite a good vantage point to capture the fireworks as you can see…
I ventured out to Bembridge to photograph the iconic lifeboat station for the 5.55am sunrise at low tide on Monday. It was a very short window of opportunity but the sky lit up with some great colours.
Following their Indian wedding the evening before, Shubha & James were married at St. Mildreds Church in Whippingham, followed by the reception in a giant marquee in the grounds of Osborne House rounded off with some outstanding Bollywood dancing!
Shubha Dhingra & James Allen we married in a Hindu ceremony at Shubha’s father’s house in Cowes. It was a very colourful event and everyone got involved which made for a fun evening. The party didn’t go on too late as there was another wedding for everyone to attend the following day…
Bryony Doe and Tom Heywood-Waddington enjoyed a fantastic day in Bembridge, with the ceremony at Holy Trinity and the reception at the sailing club, a fantastic venue that is superb for us photographers! It was a great day in the sunshine which has been a little illusive this summer, and it turned into quite a party late on!
Steph & Steve managed to arrange for the rain to avoid the key moments of the day which was a huge relief all round! They had an emotional ceremony at, in my opinion, the prettiest church on the island, followed by a great reception at the New Holmwood in Cowes.
Nic (of Flowers by Nic fame) and John had an outdoor ceremony at Languard Manor. The marquee was the most colourful i’ve ever seen (but then I shouldn’t be surprised by that I guess!), making for the most colourful set of wedding images so far!
I highly recommend Nic’s flowers as we see her at a number of weddings each year.

Wedding season is fast approaching and the pre wedding shoots are now in full swing! Katie & James came down to Cowes yesterday and we decided to take advantage of the unseasonal weather and head outside for the shoot. Despite a little trepidation in front of the camera, it turned out that they were both naturals!
On our recent trip to London for a commercial job, Rob and I also got a chance to take some photos around London of some urban scenes. This graffiti on the South Bank of the Thames made for an interesting subject.
London property specialists Spencer James residential commissioned us to travel up to London for the day as they required some images to adorn the walls of their brand new office in the heart of Belgravia. Five prints now proudly hang in the office, along with three more images in their front window signage.
